FSMSDC Virtual Business Awards

Small businesses are the backbone of the U.S. economy

Over the last 10 years, minority business enterprises accounted for more than 50 percent of the two million new businesses started in the United States and created 4.7 million jobs.  There are now more than four million minority-owned companies in the United States, with annual sales totaling close to $700 billion.

We would love your presence at our first ever FSMSDC Virtual Business Awards tomorrow at 6 PM EDT.

The Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council’s (FSMSDC) Business Impact Awards virtual experience recognizes the achievements of Florida’s top minority-owned businesses, dynamic industry leaders, and major corporations that are committed to Supplier Diversity.  This upscale evening of Honor and Elegance brings together Florida’s business community, co-hosted by Beatrice Louissaint, President and CEO of the FSMSDC, and Abel Herrera, President/CEO of IT Data Solutions and FSMSDC MBE Input Committee Chair.

Guests will have the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of minority-owned businesses and professionals that are shaping the future of the State of Florida. The experience includes entertainment, sharing the council’s mission and of course a few surprises.  Awards presented during the evening include Local & National Corporations of the Year, MBE Suppliers of the Year, Advocate of the Year, Buyer of the Year, President’s Rising Star Award, Crystal Award and the Doing Well While Doing Good® Humanitarian Award.

At the FSMSDC, we recognize that this year’s event will not be our typical event, but in changing this year’s platform we are able to protect the health of our staff, guests, and sponsors and direct more funds raised to offer services – to those who need our aid now more than ever.

Please reach out to me if you would like to attend.
