Abel A. Herrera

Abel Herrera is the President/CEO of IT Data Solutions, an SBA 8(a) small business which offers expert Information Technology (IT) consulting services, staffing, and tools for implementation in any industry.  IT Data Solutions provides strategic IT solutions to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and streamline processes.

As a Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, Integration Architect, and Data Architect with over 20 years of Information Technology experience, Abel and his team has helped many organizations gain a competitive advantage by integrating and organizing their client’s data, so they can make strategic business decisions based on data analytics.

Abel received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, where he also served as the team captain and starting point guard of the UCF Knights basketball team.  Abel serves as a Board Member of the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC) and he is also the Chairperson of the FSMSDC MBE Input Committee.  Abel is currently the Vice President of the UCF Alumni Miami Chapter.

When Abel has some spare time, he loves to spend it traveling with his family, boating, and fishing.  Abel and his wife of over 20 years, Lissette, are the very proud parents of four girls:  Isabella, Natalia, Gabriella, and Daniella.
